Furaha African Heritage Festival
Furaha means joy — not as escape, but as arrival. The Furaha Festival is a community gathering rooted in shared passions, cultural expression, and the relationships that make joy sustainable. Through music, movement, food, workshops, and interactive vendor experiences, Furaha celebrates the everyday labor that builds community long before celebration begins. This is a space to meet local Black-owned businesses, learn from makers and growers, and connect with people who believe joy is something we create together. Come ready to move, learn, and connect.
